Cait & Bob / The Grove at Centerton Wedding

Cait & Bob | The Grove at Centerton Wedding
Pittsgrove Township, NJ

Sandy and Danny’s Summer Lovin’ from Greece have nothing on Cait and Bob’s summer love story. They met years ago through mutual friends while staying at a group shore home. They connected and haven’t stopped laughing with one another since! They still keep the tradition with their shore home friends each year and always remember how they fell in love.

Cait and Bob had such an ideal wedding day. The Grove at Centerton out did themselves with hosting this main event in their large ballroom. Over 250 of the couple’s closest family members and friends kept the energy high all day and all night celebrating this pair. Before the crazy dancing with a family tradition of wrapping neck ties around their heads…and prior to the epic lip sync, flip-flop fiddle performance by Bob’s sister, the day started out with the normal, excited nerves leading up to the ceremony.

Cait and her girls were in the bridal suite at The Grove, busy laughing and sipping on mimosas as Bob and his men were getting ready at The Courtyard Marriott in Glassboro, NJ. Both Cait’s mother and Bob’s mother helped Cait get into her stunning gown, and made sure she was all ready. I had never before seen a mother-in-law help a bride get dressed. I thought it was such an honor, and a nice testimate to how much they meant to one another. It was touching to watch the pride on both mother’s faces as they realized what a beautiful bride Cait made. Her father was also stunned and speechless as he walked in to see his daughter first before anyone else. It was very sweet.

Once Bob made it over to the venue, they had their first Look by a tree-lined area on the golf course grounds. I thought their already happy individual personalities were awesome, but when I finally was able to see their chemistry together it was so heartwarming and fun! For their portaits, we explored an area at the venue that was off the path – a little rustic and unique in appearance. It felt less polished from the normal areas of the grounds that are used at Country Club weddings. I loved mixing the look of a beautiful couple looking nicely put together with an area that was less than regal. Cait and Bob could literally be anywhere together and they would still be laughing contagiously – existing off pure happiness and love!

Their families and bridal party all showed such amazing support for this marriage. Their ceremony was held on the patio at The Grove at Centerton. Behind them, elegant florals and a large rustic wooden door display crafted by the bride herself served as a perfect backdrop. The couple enjoyed dancing and their guests all night long. I couldn’t be happier for their day coming together so perfectly, nor could I have been more honored to be the one to capture each important moment. Congratulations Cait & Bob!
