As a wedding photographer, I have a major responsibility to capture meaningful, unique moments for my clients. Another responsibility is to create a support system so my clients can sit back and enjoy their happiest day. I do this mainly through taking the planning guessing game out of the equation on their behalf, helping them have fun and enjoy being in love! Being a wedding photographer is a high-pressure job that boils down to simplicity being most effective. My advice to anyone engaged and planning their wedding day is to just be happy, the rest falls into place!
June 22, 2019 was a gorgeous early Summer day down the Shore. ICONA in Avalon served as the perfect venue for these two beach lovers. Everlemon Events planned this elegant, modern and fun beach-inspired ICONA, Avalon wedding and everything went smoothly.
Both Alysa and Jeremy spent the mornings prepping with their respected wedding parties. After both wedding parties were ready, they hopped on the trolley and headed to the church. Alysa made her entrance as a Bride with her Father at Saint Paul Church in Stone Harbor. A beautiful and traditional ceremony finalized their union before the celebration began.
Everything was alright down the Jersey shore as the bridal party enjoyed blue skies for their photos. Alysa and Jeremy enjoyed this time to themselves, walking along the Jersey shore and even stopped to play Bocce Ball!
The reception was held at the widely loved NJ resort get-a-way, ICONA in Avalon NJ. Guests were entertained all night by the most interactive DJ-Band hybrid entertainment group I’ve ever seen, Unique Music. These two shocked me as they jumped on stage and transformed into newlywed rap artists! A bonfire after-party with the most gorgeous and romantic night sky full of bright stars helped close out their first day as Husband and Wife.
I think their wedding day and night was a vision that transformed into reality for Alysa and Jeremy and I couldn’t have been happier to be a part of it all for them!
