We hear people say this so often and it really is true: Time moves so quickly! Here we are already in 2020, thinking back not only to this past year but the past decade. Ten years ago, I was similar yet very different from the person and artist I am now. Each year brought on its own experiences and opportunity for growth…2019 was no exception for both myself and JLP.
What a whirlwind 2019 was! Between lead and second shooting, I was fortunate enough to photograph 43 weddings and close to 30 sessions (including many Engagement sessions, a few Maternity, Family sessions as well as Boudoir and a Proposal!). Photography once again provided new adventures, as it took me to Las Vegas and Brooklyn – both locations which I’ve never been to before! It is so humbling to think that I witnessed 43 couples experience their happiest of days, and that I was chosen to be a part of such intimate and unique moments! I can’t say thank you enough.
This past year, I focused on showing the connection between people, having portraits match with personalities, as well as positioning myself in the best way to help tell the story of what was happening before me. Sometimes when I look through a completed gallery, I see an image from a moment that I can relive. I can see, feel and hear everything in my memory, as if I am still experiencing it. It is always my hope and goal for exactly that same experience to be had by my clients when they look at their wedding photos and to do so with a huge smile on their faces!
Thank you for the experiences at different South Jersey and Philadelphia wedding venues, unforgettable memories and new client friendships, 2019. Now, 2020…I’m coming for you!
